The Nocturnal House: Anno Dracula. Where I talk about one of my favorite vampire books!

ALSO! That talented husband of mine has a blog post up talking about a possible Kickstarter project, and he'd like feedback from people. Go read it and give your opinion! http://www.peteventers.com/blog/2011/08/01/kickstarter/
Today was beautiful and sunny. So what did I do for most of the day? Stay inside and reorganize book cases. But now my vampire books are easier to get to, which makes sense considering they're the genre I re-read most often.

Four of the five shelves. I still haven't reorganized the very top (not pictured) shelf, but when I do, that's probably where all the Vampire: the Masquerade books and art books will live. And I discovered I have more "real" vampire books (non-fiction about vampire archetypes, folklore, and the vampire subculture) than I realized.

I swear I don't read every vampire book I come across, really. There are whole swathes of them that are too annoying and dumb, even for me. (But I do have the tie-in novel for The Lost Boys.)
