When the Stroppy One asked if I wanted to get coffee this morning, at first I said no, I'll have a pot of tea at work. But as I was standing in front of the mirror applying my eyeliner, I realized that coffee was very desperately needed. Dear Lighthouse Coffee, I less-than-three you. Mmmm, double-tall Americano.

I am still working up to writing a review of the Tim Burton Alice In Wonderland. The very short form is this: it's very pretty. But the farther away I get from the viewing experience, the more dissatisfied with it I become. I am NOT planning on purchasing it when it is released for the home market. I will purchase the big art book instead, which will let me look at the pretty as much as I want without having to grit my teeth at the "plot".

As the Goth At The Office photo (coming later) will show, I am indeed wearing yet another military-style jacket. And my pink fingerless gloves with GOTH CAKE embroidered on them. They make me happy, and I suspect today is a day I am going to need all of the little amusements I can get.

---

Speaking of little amusements, my Keep Calm And Have A Cupcake (clicky-link!) journal arrived in the mail yesterday. I don't know what I'm going to use it for, but I had to have it. (I also really like the matching stationery (clicky-link!), but I am still dithering about ordering it.)

I hope you folks are having a good day. Anything exciting going on?
I want to come up with two words, four letters each, that describe me. You see, I want to embroider them on a pair of fingerless gloves. Yes, like the very cute gloves that two different vendors were selling at the Mourning Market. Neither vendor had phrases that really appealed to me ("Punk Rock"? No. "Hard Luck"? Not even.), hence my deciding to try my hand at making my own set. Besides, I have a LOT of vintage-ish gloves I could use for this sort of thing.

So yes. Two words, four letters each, that are appropriate for me. Please give me suggestions!

("Whimsy", alas, is obviously right out. I suppose I could embroider a word on the back of each hand, instead of a letter on each finger ...)

Ooooh, in other news, the postman delivered my big Emilie Autumn deluxe bundle with the Asylum book (and t-shirt, recipe booklet, deluxe double CD, and totebag). Must not look at book until my workday is done!
