Today is a day I fervently wished I had sick time available. Every few months, the PMS decides to ramp up. If I could have stayed home today, I would have.

Last night at Club V was all sorts of fun, if crowded, and a good wrap-up for a busy day.

Today is just as busy, in a different manner. Today is all about reorganizing and cleaning the library. Moving furniture, trying to find new storage places for things, the works. Ah well, it needs to be done, and needs to be done by Tuesday, for a particular reason that I'm not discussing yet.

Soooo, what that means is I should stop dawdling around on LJ, huh?

My goodness, I am in a Very Bad Mood. And for no real reason (other than hormones), because I got enough sleep last night and had a lovely weekend full of tea parties, seeing friends, and exploring a new thrift store.

(Seattle-area peeps: the new Goodwill in Shoreline is one of the better thrift stores I've been to in ages.)

But still, I am unreasonably cranky. I am trying really really hard not to let my crank-tastic mood slop over onto anyone, but it's taking a HUGE effort, believe me. Even the fact that I'm wearing a charming cropped geek-tastic black wool jacket is not improving my mood. (Geek-tastic because it has a patch with the school crest for The Umbrella Academy on it. Yes, fangirly on two levels, and I DON'T CARE. I don't even care that the Latin motto is dreadful. Go ahead, roll your eyes at me.)

So! Tell me good things, peoples. Tell me happy-making things. Please help me vanquish this awful mood. Please?

The post wittering about C13 wardrobe plans has to wait until I've worked out my final list. (Yes, there is a list. Do you people have ANY IDEA the amount of clothing I am considering taking with me? Wait, you people probably do.)

The meta thinky post about the growing trend of cute skull merchandise (and

smu, I do agree that the trend is is a modern interpretation of the memento mori, but I think there's more to it) has to wait until I have a smidge more time and brainspace, because I'd like my meta thinky post to be, oh, I don't know, ARTICULATE. Or as articulate as I can manage these days.

Besides, I'm pretty sure most of you peoples only read my LJ for the random wurbling about clothes and makeup anyway. ::wink::
