Now that I am back from my week of decompression at
cass404's place, an update on Tzepesh:
He's still not well. He's lost weight, is lethargic, and is not very interested in food. He will eat, occasionally, and the Stroppy One has been trying out all sorts of different foods on him to see what will motivate him to eat.
The vet says that it is probably a GI infection. Tzepesh is now on twice-a-day antibiotics, with a chaser of two syringes of water squirted down his throat. (THANK YOU to
ladymoira for helping out with that while I was still in PDX.)
Tzepesh, being possibly the most mellow cat in existence, while not happy with getting pills and water put down his throat, puts up with it, and hasn't gone into a massive sulk about it. But he's weak and tired, poor baby. I think the antibiotics are helping, but the Stroppy One and I would love to see a Sudden! Miraculous! Recovery! and have Tzepesh go back to his usual eat ALL THE FOOD ways.
So, whatever good thoughts or prayers you could spare for my big baby cat would be most appreciated.

And they ran tons of tests (the first times, anyway) and nothing was obvious, it was just pretty much "let's throw everything at it and cross our fingers."
Cats that won't eat pretty much put me in full panic. Cats don't DO THAT.
Much hope this clears up fast.
