(Yes, I'm window shopping.)

So, I've been kinda-sorta coveting the Clockwork Cabaret jacket (Clicky link! WARNING, the model is wearing the jacket, stockings, and pink panties, so possibly NSFW) from Danger Dame for over a year now. More details, same warnings about the photos.

It's very cute. Not to mention black with pink details, and stretchy! But I'm still waffling about it. Thus, I turn to the invisible people in the glowy box on my desk for more opinions!

Oh, and another fashion-y question: cute Victorian-esque waist length jackets. Give me links, please. Yes, I need more of them. Really.

I keep thinking of you when I look at this (http://www.us.redoute.com/clothing/MATIN-BLANC-Ruffled-Shawl-Collar-Blazer.aspx?PfId=44857&DeptId=14059&ProductTypeId=1&PurchaseType=0), though I'm not entirely sure it's "you." I just can't think of who it specifically *is*. :) (I haven't decided if it's me.)

There's also this (http://www.us.redoute.com/clothing/Velvet-Blazer-with-Eyelet-Trim.aspx?PfId=91126&DeptId=14142&producttypeid=1&pref=ps&PurchaseType=G), but they only have it left in blue. (I have the pink version, which is more of a warm, "sandy" pink than your signature shade.)

La Redoute has a lot of military-styled shorter jackets right now; I'm not sure if they're entirely your style, though.

Do I need to link anything from Newport News? I'm guessing not. :) I already bought that new asymmetric-rounded-closure velveteen jacket they've got.

I'm not seeing as many Victorian-inspired jackets this year as I did the previous couple of years. Fashion seems to be into those '50s-style cropped jackets with the flared sleeves for the coming winter.

The ruffly velvet collar jacket is cute, but the collar is too big/overwrought for me. I prefer to keep my giant ruffled details on skirts. :)

I am going to order the NN asymmetrical-closure jacket; it looks like my favorite velvet jacket from them with a slightly different front, so hurrah!

Yeah, not as many Victorian-esque jackets this year. I keep hoping I'll find more in the thrift & consignment shops.

That first jacket might be me, 'cept it's above my price-point. Is this jacket (http://www.us.redoute.com/clothing/Corduroy-Officers-Jacket.aspx?PfId=91015&DeptId=14076&producttypeid=1&pref=ps&PurchaseType=G) one of you? I kinda thot in plum it might be [livejournal.com profile] icprncs. Not really Victorian-esque, more military-esque.

So not helping! Sorry.

I think it's me. But I doubt I will be able to justify its purchase even if the money becomes less of an obstacle. :-/

I think the Clockwork Cabaret jacket is [livejournal.com profile] stillbourne.
