I still want a cupcake pink faux fur "fox" stole from Coquette Faux Furriers. (Not the hot pink shown in the photo, obviously.) A pink fuzzy scarf! With a little face! I could make it talk to people and amuse myself for hours!

OOooh, a cupcake pink faux fur handbag! I don't care about the brand name (because I am not a label snob when it comes to handbags and purses), but I haven't seen anyone other than My Flat In London making vintage-style frame handbags in cupcake pink faux fur. Am I willing to pay $99 plus shipping for it? I dunno. I've coveted it for almost two years now. So darling!

(Nordstrom had it, but now says it's not in stock.)

(And while not fuzzy, this pink & black handbag from them is cute too.)

Soon there will be a post about getting to meet [livejournal.com profile] lord_whimsy on Saturday night (he is *just* as charming as his book), and maybe some burbling about holiday things. But right now? I'm distracting myself from the looming deadline by looking at pink faux fur accessories. I wants them aaaaall!

ok, the thought of you making the stole talk to people just makes me giggle.

So, had a big dose of the 'pink-fairy' crack today, didn't you?

*sigh*

I loved the handbags and stole and pink ridiculoshit, but I must admit...

I loved this comment more.

I am IN LOVE with the hot pink stole. IN LOVE. And even in the hot pink, mind you.

I'm already plotting how I can make that...

If you figure out how to make one of those stoles, please please please let me know!

you are evil. It's been bugging me all night how to do it, and I've worked it out. I don't have any cupcake pink fur to work with but I do have white with lurex and ...oh hang on let me just get the camera...

Image (http://photobucket.com/)

there...not the best pic in the world but you get the general idea that the base colour is white, with little lurex bits and the very tips of the fur are purple, rather like one has skinned My Little Pony. Next to it on the shelf is the other faux fur I have here, black with silver glitter. If you think you'd wear one of these colours, I'll happily have a bash at making it. In my vast store of odd sewing bits and bobs I have eyes and noses...

Oh, did my box of bits ever get to you? Sent out stuffed heart and a tiny bottle of stuff before all cash ran out - [livejournal.com profile] slave1 has had her stuff and it was sent at the same time.

Oh, you darling! I would quite happily wear a sparkly black stole with a face. (And name it, and probably have it sing little songs.) Let me know how much I should send you, and I'll get a PayPal thing off to you.

The box of goodies DID show up (argh, I kept meaning to leave a comment in one of your posts!), and made me very happy. I was looking at the stuffed heart just this morning, and once again marveling at it.

bwaahahahahah!!!!

a black one it shall be! I am so beyond poor that if you can cover the mail costs it stands some chance of making it to you.

Glad package arrived safely - was slightly worried the bottel would either a) smash or b) get nabbed by customs...

ooohh..this is Sue logged in under other name...and oh, oh oh...just though...I could give little stole critter baby pink insides to his ears...and a pink satin tummy

I have a vintage child's collar in rabbit fur that has little leather ears and black eyes. V cute, but real fur...I should wear it more often.

Pink satin tummy and the insides of its ears?! Eeeee, how cute!

Yes, you should wear the vintage child's collar more often, it sounds adorable.

Of course I can cover postage costs! Oh, I am so excited by the notion of this!

Could be worse.

So are you EVER going to come to my new sunday night Djing?

From: [identity profile] cupcake-goth.livejournal.com

If you whine at me about it, no. ;-p

Sunday nights have always been difficult nights for me to go out and do stuff on, because Sundays are the usual "Do chores and general housekeeping" days. It's very hard to then get in the "Go out and dance!" mindset.

From: [identity profile] djeternaldarkne.livejournal.com

I know. Same for me.

I'm just fighting the "hey I feel like a lame DJ as some of my favorite folks aren't out here" blues.

I'd be worried about keeping the furry handbag clean. Stoles are great, and there's nothin' wrong with accessory puppet shows, but that one doesn't look all that exciting or difficult to make. I'll bet you could find some pink monster fur and make a better one yourself like an elongated oddkin.

The stole looks like it's made out of three seams and a teddy bear face. How could that be difficult?

I bought a black bra with pink piping last night and thought about you.

I want the hot pink stole! (or other neon color) And I'm thinking they would be relatively easy to make, and they have oodles of funky fun fur at Joanne's...

and if you had one, and I had one, they could talk to each other when we passed in the hallways of the Borg. :)

From: [identity profile] staxxy.livejournal.com

just looking at this image closely, I can see that they have just "shaped" the face a bit with how they cut the fur, and then the face itself actually is like a teddy bear face (although, clearly NOT a teddy beart face, as the nose is the wrong sort, but purchasable from any craft store and likely any fabric store as well).

My *mom* can make this (okay, truth be told my mother is acutally a master of soft sculpture, so... this stole is in the "no biggy" catagory, once she gets her machine set up at her new apartment).

*I* might even be able to make this. Granted, if *I* make it you won't have it *this* year. ;)
