Things That Make Me Happy, Day the Seventh:

- Posting a new Gothic Charm School lesson, and getting lots of good feedback about it.

- Working from home, even if the predicted Snowpocalypse didn't happen.

- Reading a trashy tell-all rock autobiography. (Motley Crue's The Dirt, if you were wondering. Trashy doesn't even begin to cover it.)

Snow picspam!

Snow day! Taken in my back yard, 12/18/2008

We bundled up and took a walk to go get coffee and have lunch at Gordito's. Yes, this is what I wear in the snow. Wool tights, heavy cotton stockings, thick socks, and skully wellington boots kept my legs and feet warm. Also, I discovered that petticoats and bloomers are not only good insulation, but useful padding when one slips and lands on one's bum.

- Finding 6+ yards of cupcake pink stretch velvet in the Storage Heap Room o' Dooooom.

- How amazingly quiet and smooth the Elna sewing machine is.
