Snow day! Snow day!
Taken in my back yard, 12/18/2008

We bundled up and took a walk to go get coffee and have lunch at Gordito's. Yes, this is what I wear in the snow. Wool tights, heavy cotton stockings, thick socks, and skully wellington boots kept my legs and feet warm. Also, I discovered that petticoats and bloomers are not only good insulation, but useful padding when one slips and lands on one's bum.

Ha! No, I apparently had my index finger (and ONLY my index finger) curled under. Wacky!

LOL!

That's what I thought too....lol, but then I thought I had to be seeing things because that wouldn't be very polite. ;)

Yes, I am discovering that tights with OTK knee socks bundled a bit make for a nice and cozy snow day here. Many layers = warmer than jeans.

Hooray for nice snow- and bizarre that you had snow and thunder and lightening!

I love how warm layers of skirts are.

Yep, that's what cold does to me! Which is why I never bother with blush. It's completely unnecessary for me.

I rarely bother with blush because it makes me look silly, sick, or both at once. ;)
