[shallow clothing thoughts] So as I was trying to drift off to sleep last night

I realized I may already have the perfect outfit for the C13 tea party. I need to pull out the various bits and bobs and put them all together to see how it works in reality (as opposed to inside my head, last thing at night), and what sort of mending & alterations I need to do, but I love doing that sort of stuff.

Of course, I still need to figure out when I'm going to have free time to go through all of my clothes and play several rounds of Let's Make A New Outfit. Time to gaze sternly at my calendar again ...

A question about customizing shoes and boots

I'm betting the answer to this question is "No", but boy, I'd feel silly if I had been making the wrong assumption.

Is it possible to have the heels on a pair of shoes or boots completely changed? High narrow heels removed, and replaced with lower, more stable heels?

(jola, I am blaming you for my thoughts along this line, because you keep reminding me that these boots exist, and ohgodohgod, do I covet them. Even though they're insanely expensive.)
