Over the weekend, we hung out with [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre and family. Princess Lilybean Squeakaboo Tickybox had recently been introduced to the videos for "Kenya" and "Magical Trevor", and instantly became addicted. Princess Tickybox's new thing to do with grown-ups is to lead us to the computer, point and the monitor, and exclaim "Lions! Grrrrarrrh!" until you load up the "Kenya" animation. She will watch it for many repetitions. Until, that is, she points at the monitor and exlaims "Cows!", at which point you're supposed to find the animation for "Magical Trevor". Rinse and repeat for what seems like forever.

Neither of those (admittedly catchy) songs are what is stuck in my head. No, in an effort to distract Princess Tickybox, [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre played her this video (clicky link!)

I am going to be humming "Furry Happy Monsters" for the rest of my life. The rest of my life, I tell you!

(I don't suppose anyone has an MP3 of it they can send me? Anyone? Naaaah, didn't think so.)

Posting madness is also known as "I just remembered this question I wanted to ask the hive mind of the interwebs".

eBay is still the best place to sell comic-related collectible thingies, right? Doing a direct sale via LJ wouldn't get me as wide of a response?

The reason I ask is that I have an extra copy of the 1995 Vertigo Tarot Deck in almost mint condition. "Almost", because there is a small puncture in the front of the big white presentation box, which is from a bat-festooned candelabra falling on it during the 2001 Nisqually earthquake.

(Yes, I'm serious. Vertigo tarot deck. Bat-festooned candelabra. Earthquake. Look, I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.)

Anyway, I want to sell it, because I don't really need an spare copy, and extra spending money would be particularly helpful. Is eBay still my best bet?
