Over the weekend, we hung out with [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre and family. Princess Lilybean Squeakaboo Tickybox had recently been introduced to the videos for "Kenya" and "Magical Trevor", and instantly became addicted. Princess Tickybox's new thing to do with grown-ups is to lead us to the computer, point and the monitor, and exclaim "Lions! Grrrrarrrh!" until you load up the "Kenya" animation. She will watch it for many repetitions. Until, that is, she points at the monitor and exlaims "Cows!", at which point you're supposed to find the animation for "Magical Trevor". Rinse and repeat for what seems like forever.

Neither of those (admittedly catchy) songs are what is stuck in my head. No, in an effort to distract Princess Tickybox, [livejournal.com profile] minim_calibre played her this video (clicky link!)

I am going to be humming "Furry Happy Monsters" for the rest of my life. The rest of my life, I tell you!

(I don't suppose anyone has an MP3 of it they can send me? Anyone? Naaaah, didn't think so.)

If you think Kenya's funny, I point your cursor to the following, which you need to show to Pete:

Don't worry, I check Weebls' stuff daily.

I also still have the link to their advent calendar which is FILLED with infectious tunes and ... the Christmassy... which still gives Jilli the shudders.

(I hate to jump in on Other People's Bandwidth, but the only CD set I've been able to find with that's a $50 set, so, err... I snagged it so that I can entertain Ms. Tickybox in the car.)

(Please note, this qualifies you for Sainthood in my book. I need a break from her other requests, which are generally "Styx??" or "Journey??")

Sainthood?

That must be that burning sensation I felt earlier. ;)

I've got FHM ripped from CD, so it's probably the iTunes file type, but if no one has come through for you on that...

Furry Happy Monsters were exactly</> what I needed today. Thanks for the dose of cheerfulness!

Isn't it the best thing ever? It's going onto the "Perkygoth" playlist in iTunes as soon as I get home.

I don't know how that child's cuteness manages to be so lethal from all the way across the continent. Oh my goodness, I love the fact of her existence so very much.

FHM is a particularly pernicious earworm. I haven't heard it in years, but it reinfected me the moment I caught sight of the words in your post.

Now Trip is addicted too. If you find an mp3 of it, let me know.
