Can someone explain to me why I am randomly coveting the Cambridge satchel in oxblood? I mean, yes, it's a slightly larger version of the vintage Coach bag that I carry pretty frequently, and oxblood is a color that would go with my black/burgundy/pink/b&w stripe wardrobe, but those things still don't explain why I keep looking at them!

I'm not ever giving into this craving, because I have my one Expensive Statement Bag (my LE Haunted Mansion Dooney & Burke bag), and I certainly don't need another. I am taking this craving as proof that I will never, ever be 100% content with whatever bag I'm carrying, and I should just. stop. looking.

Not big on designer hand bags but I do look longingly at the D&B Haunted Mansion bags.

I'm not a designer bag person either (most of my bags are thrift store scores), but I finally caved on the Haunted Mansion bag after I got to see one in real life. So many pockets! Then I hunted one down for a good price on eBay!

Perhaps this is more about how you use the bag you have now and the ways you think this other bag might be different, and how that would affect your life? This bag certainly has a more sporty "on the go" look to it. Perhaps you are craving a more "on the go" aspect to your life. You have been kind of chained to your desk between work and writing, of late.

Oh, dear. I hadn't seen the Haunted Mansion bag before. Now I just looked it up. And I kinda want one, and Disney isn't even my thing. Designer Bag Haunted Mansion Disney, though. I have a Purse Problem, so I understand how you could want the Cambridge satchel even though you already have the bag that meets your needs...

I also have a purse problem, and omg, that satchel is so nice. I don't actually own any good satchel type purses. Also, ooooh, very excited you have the haunted mansion D&B bag. I've been eyeing those a bit, but don't know how practical it'd wind up being.

My "problem" is that I'm 100% content with the Coach bag I got from [livejournal.com profile] alexiarnps years ago - the "hippie" bag - and it's now a little the worse for wear. Plus, I hate transferring stuff between bags and often screw it up.
