The Very Stripey Outfit I wore to go out last night was, in part, a trial run of my outfit for the Bats Day Swinging Wake evening. Wheee, gender-swap Beetlejuice! But I have some decisions to make:

Crazy Hair
Pro: In keeping with the character!
Con: Time-consuming. Time which I could be spending in Disneyland!

Giant Stripy Hat
Pro: So! Easy! Plus hatpins!
Con: Packing yet another giant hat. I'm already going to be packing one for daily wear at Disneyland.

No matter which I end up doing, I will be doing Beetlejuice-esque makeup. Because that is FUN. And the outfit will probably involve a high-collared (sleeveless!) white shirt and a black cravat, because if I'm doing gender-swapped Victorian Beetlejuice, I might as well go all the way, right?

i voted for hat because nothing can go wrong w/ a hat and it's easy ... Not sure about your hair, but mine tends to be uncooperative whenever i actually NEED IT to something and it always takes longer than anticipated and i'm always sweaty and cursing life when i'm done so i vote hat!

though granted, you are not as inept as I am!

I'm probably going to do a test run of the big hair and see if I've figured out an easier way to do the victory rolls. But I'm leaning toward hat, because So. Much. Easier!

Its a hard call since it will be warm too. If you have a magic morning, for early park entrance, that could give you extra park time and still do big hair. Not a fan of the rope drop and prefer night in the park. Its a lot of time on your feet in an intense burst so make sure to take care of yourself first.

We do have Magic Morning for one of the days, but even Disneyland is not enough of a lure to get me out of bed that early. :D
