Why yes, I was sickly all weekend. As was [livejournal.com profile] stroppy_baggage. We managed to drag ourselves out to the Ballard Sunday Market, and that was quite enough activity and excitement for us. I still feel kind of weak and easily tired; I guess it's a good thing I had already scheduled today as a vacation day. Mind you, I was planning on using this vacation day to laze around indulgently and perhaps write, not try and take care of household chores that have gone neglected for four days, but oh well.

I will not be at S&B tonight if it happens, as I need to make sure I'm well-rested enough to go back to work tomorrow for various meetings. I hope everyone is doing well, and that anyone else who had been struck down by this strain of Ick is feeling better.

Yep, sick. Chills, aches, exhaustion, and a feeling like half of my brain has been removed. I'm working from home today, and will probably do so tomorrow. Because even if I'm feeling better, [livejournal.com profile] stroppy_baggage is showing signs of coming down with this.

Which has not stopped him from going and fetching me tasty Mexican food (dear Gordito's, I love you, please never close) AND a bottle of Fernet, which many friends of mine swear by as a cold remedy.

Another cold remedy seems to involve being flopped on the couch with various configurations of cats snuggled up around me. Apparently all Tzepesh ever really wants is a person to curl up next to. I'm not complaining; I've missed having a giant black cat sleep on my feet and making my toes eventually go numb. (I'm not being sarcastic; Dread Beastie did that all the time, and I have missed it.)

Whoo, woozy. This is not fun. I'm especially cranky about this because the weather is being perfectly cool and overcast, and I don't feel well enough to go for a walk.
