This week has been ... eh. Not great. And the next few weeks are going to involve me being patient, which is not something I'm at all good at. (If you listen closely, you can hear
stroppy_baggage and
caliban1227 laughing at that understatement.) So! Today I dressed to amuse myself even more than I normally do. Yes, today is when I give thanks for the software industry's lack of a dress code.

In other Shallow Fashion News, Shoutfit is still down. There's a part of me that wonders if it's down deliberately. The assorted things I've found online about the start of Shoutfit suggest that the people behind it were hoping to be absorbed/purchased by one of the big fashion media publishers; the Shoutfit userbase becoming increasingly weighted with Goths, Steampunks, and other fans of non-mainstream and DIY looks probably worried them. But it's only a small part of me that is dabbling with that conspiracy theory; there's no need to line hats with tinfoil yet.
