- I'm good at my job. No, you don't understand, I'm really good at my job, my co-workers know it, and they trust me to get things done. This is refreshing.

- Over on Tumblr, someone came up with the idea of Mary Shelley, Percy Shelley, and Byron as a pop-punk band, and I am ENTRANCED. To the point of dreaming up the Fandom Wank -style post about everything that went down at Lake Geneva. It's such a delightfully cracky idea!

- Everyone is checking in on me while Pete is away, and I'm very touched by that.

My boss gives me feedback on my editing like "Nice job!" which I, for real, never heard once from my old evil boss (the one who gave "feedback" like "This makes us look stupid!")

It's amazing having a boss who actually knows how to manage people.
