Hello, LJ, how are you? Back from the dead?

Anyway, yes, much like many of you, I have an account over at Dreamwidth: http://cupcake-goth.dreamwidth.org/. I hardly ever post over there, but that may change, what with LJ being all zombielike.

There's also the Google+ whatsit, but I haven't done ANYTHING with it, other than look at the mounting "So-and-so has added you to their Google+!" messages.

So. The super-secret gothy project went well. I'm still fighting with the annoying Lyme Disease + what feels like a squillion other health issues. I still get randomly weepy about Mom. Oh, and my dayjob ends ... tomorrow, which means back to job hunting, which I loathe. Yes, I am a bundle of joy today. I devoutly hope that all of you peeps are feeling better than I am right now.

(This will all pass, I know it, and I'll probably be in a better mood, oh, tomorrow. But right now? Not so much. Feh.)

Google+ feels like it could be a nice hybrid of twitter and facebook with a smidge of LJ tossed in, I just added you to a circle. ; )
I'd like to see it grow up and be lovely but for now, it is just another social network.

Good luck on your job hunt. I'm presently searching the East coast for job options. Present state of business as well as the present state of me in that company worry me, so for once I'm paying attention to omens & gut instincts to look now.

Hope the Lyme disease & other ailments ease up, you deserve a break from the madness

I just can't get in to Google+. I feel the same way about notifications piling up. I hate replying to anything on there because then it's mountains of replies in my inbox unless I go and mute every single one.

Sorry to hear about the Lyme disease - I sympathize greatly, as I have auto immune hypothyroidism. For a few months we thought I had lyme since they share so many symptoms. I swear there should be a club for goths with auto immune diseases. :D

What sort of job are you looking for? Maybe one of your loyal readers knows of something, which could make your job hunt slightly less loathesome! :)
