The correct answer, of course, is that you are going to the University Bookstore at 7pm for the signing party for the Steampunk Bible! Libby Bulloff, Cherie Priest, and Jay Lake will be there, being fabulous. You really want to go. Trust me.

I would be, if I weren't so sick. Btw, did Evaria ever give you the embroidered patch?

Oh, I hope you feel better soon!

Embroidered patch? Buh? Um, nope, she hasn't given it to me yet. But I haven't seen her in a while, either.

I am, in fact, doing 'nothing' but math tonight. However, I don't think I could fight traffic and KC Metro to get there in time.

Though I do have to thank Cherie Priest for writing a Steampunk book that I really enjoyed, despite it being a genre I don't usually get into. Thanks, Cherie!

Kinda OT, sorry

Speaking of books, I won a copy of the GCS book a couple of months ago (back in November, IIRC) and never got a reply to the 3 or 4 e-mails I sent you. And yes, I triple-checked the e-mail address I was using, it's most definitely the one you gave me (http://savesnowssanity.livejournal.com/6091.html?thread=95179#t95179). And I used two separate accounts thinking your spam filter didn't like the first one. So, I guess what I wanted to ask was... Am I ever going to get that book or should I just give up?

Re: Kinda OT, sorry

The book never got to you? Well godddammit, because I did send it off to you.

::curses the postal service::

Give me your mailing address again (if you want to post it in a comment here, and then delete the comment, that would work, because I'll still have the notification), then I will get another copy out to you and pray that the post office doesn't lose it again.

I'm really sorry about this; I haven't seen any of the emails from you, either.

Re: Kinda OT, sorry

Wait, if you never got any of my e-mails, where did you send the book?

I'm PM-ing you with my address right now. Btw, do let me know if you want me to cover the shipping costs.

Re: Kinda OT, sorry

I got one email with your address, on something like the third time you sent it to me, but I hadn't seen any other emails since.

::checks mail folders:: Yep, the only mail I have from you is dated Dec. 9th.

Again, I'm really sorry about this, and will get another copy of the book out to you.

That's my time to be Bendy Nun, I'm afraid.

I wish I was out there. I just gave Trevor a copy of The Steampunk Bible today for his birthday!
