Help [livejournal.com profile] donnaricci find a good home for this adorable abandoned cat!

The full story is here in Donna's LJ. The very short version is: the previous owner of this cat moved and left her with a relative. A relative who decided they didn't want to bother with a cat, and abandoned her by the Equestrian
Center by Clockwork Couture.

I have a very low opinion of people who abandon pets; that is putting it mildly. (Someday I will tell you people stories of the various pets I had to rescue when I was in my 20s and working in retail hell.) I would love to see this charming cat find a good home. So! If you're in California and would like to help out, please scoot over to [livejournal.com profile] donnaricci's journal and read the details. Thank you!

Oh, man... I would love to, but I'm in Colorado, a student, and have four cats already. Two of whom are black. One of those black cats I got in August from a group of homeless people at about four weeks old.

I'm with you on people who abandon pets. It's reprehensible and unforgivable. At a shelter is one thing, by the side of the road is quite another.

Oh how I wish...

I do live in California and I've been begging my mother to allow me to get a cat, she won't allow it as I'm going off to college soon. My last cat was a rescue as well and I wish I could help the poor baby out. She's quite beautiful too :(

What a gorgeous cat.

I used to volunteer at a cat rescue shelter and was amazed at the reasons people would give when dropping off their cats. Even worse was the abandoned ones :-( Having said that there was an equal amount of wonderful people who wanted to give these cats a home.

I'm in CA, and my cat-loving dad lost his beloved tuxedo boy about six months ago, so I read Donna's LJ and will broach the subject with my dad on Sunday (it probably won't hurt that Matilda will be there--she desperately wants him to get another cat).
