Apparently it is the time of year when very expensive things I covet come into existence.

Behold, the new print from the Gothic Lolita brand Baby the Stars Shine Bright:

$200. Aaaand probably wouldn't fit me anyway. But oooh, I love that sort of print. Look at the details!

(As someone else on egl said, this print makes up for the Vampire Forest print (clicky-link)) from Alice and the Pirates, BtSSB's sub-line. Which, with a name like "Vampire Forest", should have been more enticing to me than it is.)

Ooooo. That is so beautiful. The black does look a lot better than the cream. The cream looks too much like Delft Blue and I'm not a fan of Delft at all.

I love fairy tale-themed prints. If only someone would do a Beauty and the Beast one... I'd buy it by the bolt. As it is, I may someday break down and get one of the extant ones just because they are so, so pretty.
