So, this scratchy feeling in my throat: allergies, or a looming cold? I'm hoping for allergies. But it made me realize that I need to go buy more Market Spice tea.

I am mostly a tea drinker. Don't get me wrong, I love well-made coffee. But the key part of that phrase is "well-made". Yes, I am something of a coffee snob. I don't like coffee that tastes burnt, I don't like overly acidic coffee, and I think lattes and mochas have too much milk in them. My ideal cup of coffee is a double-shot americano with a dollop of caramel sauce dissolved in it. Topped with real whipped cream. Needless to say, I don't manage to get my ideal coffee very often.

So I drink tea. I was raised drinking Market Spice tea, which is a black tea strongly flavored with orange and cinnamon. Currently, the teas I drink the most of come from Mighty Leaf (clicky-link!), which has glorious teas such as Pear Caramel Truffle and Chocolate Orange Truffle.

Lipstick. Yes, I went and purchased the Kat Von D lipstick in Homegirl. And it is indeed my Perfect Lipstick. I'm not kidding; it's that perfect dark pomegranate wine color I've been searching for for a couple of decades. Of course, the catch is that it was a limited edition color for (from what I can tell) the past holiday season. Argh.

So! If any of you reading this happen to have a tube of Kat Von D's lipstick in Homegirl that you don't want, let me know if you'd be interested in a trade. I have unopened boxes of limited edition MAC lipsticks in Queen's Sin, Bing, and Burnin' to offer. I also have a barely-used tube of MAC Hang Up (which would be sanitized before being sent off, of course), an entirely full jar of MAC glitter in a dark purple blue, and several other hardly-been-used MAC goodies that I have to go dig out.

Today involves job hunting (::sigh::), and doing the finishing work on the clothing sale document. Yes! The clothing sale will be posted this week!

Avon's Ultra Color Rich Lipstick in Cherry Jubilee is lovely deep cherry red. I have a few small sample tubes I am willing to send you if you like. Ya know, just to try. I also have, or can get, most Avon samples.

Squee! Clothing! I do need a new(ish) fall jacket becasue I currently don't have one.

Damm, now I want tea.

I am from New Zealand, a country of suprise coffee snobs. London coffee is wretched, Paris and Spain - not even that much better. Le sigh.

Oh yes, Melbourne brews - I miss. Australians/NZers are in high demand in the UK as baristas, but I don't think it's the respected calling here that it is back 'ome. What I would do to have one of my favourite K Rd/Cuba Mall/Brunswick St cafes plonked into my neighbourhood.

At least there's the pubs. Bowie Bingo at my local next week.

*sigh* After having moved to Perth at the start of the year, I do, to some extent, feel you pain. However, Perth has Freo and the Swan Valley :D

Side note: You can get an AMAZING meal in Carlton for under $25. They start at $30 for anything semi-decent in Perth.... :(

You should check out this store. I used to live in Melbourne and I buy my tea pretty much exclusively from them. I can not recommend their vanila chai more highly! I'm a huge tea freak (I have little pots of exotic teas all around my desk at work and people are always coming up and sniffing them) and I have tried so many different places and this is the best I have found so far. I will, however, try the website you recommended :D

Good luck with your job search!

Throat Coat tea (sold in the health food aisle) works wonders when I have an itchy, sore throat. One large mug of it and I am nearly new the next day. Tastes like black licorice which I do not like. I usually use a dark tea to "mask" the taste.

I have heard of people who will custom blend a shade of lipstick for you as long as you have a sample of what you want. Just an idea for when you start running low.

Two second on google found these links:

It's hard to find well-made coffee. And as much as I love it, I don't make it well :D

But I make do, because tea just doesn't have the caffeine for me

Are you still looking for more of this color? The sephora by me has atleast 3 of them just waiting to be picked up. I am guess since this sephora is kind of out of the way and new is why they have so many.
