I have brought a box of them into the office, but have not yet opened the sealed plastic bag. Mostly because I've been assured by other people that the sparklehearts are very strongly, cloyingly scented, and I don't know if I want to have that wafting around my workspace. However, I can report that the sparklehearts are, yes indeed, sparkly. Well, shimmery. I opened the box, looked at the shimmer, caught sight of ones that read "I ♥ EC", "Dazzle", "Lamb", "I trust you", and then promptly burst into horrified giggles.

In other news, yeah, I am also over at DW. I'm not giving up LJ for it, but hey! I'm always interested in new posting/social networking things. Even if I do keep forgetting to look at/update facebook ...

Candy that says "I trust you?" Ew. That is totally not my kink.

It does however mean that someone needs to make pictures of trust candy with cake that is a lie, because that's just funny.

So what's the scoop on DW anyway? Is there better, or is it just the fun of shiny, new toys to play with?

I haven't dinked around with it enough to say if it's oodles better. So mostly, the fun of shiny new thing!

Mmm. I'll be interested in reports. Not that I need a new way to waste time on the internet, but it's rather tempting.

Awesome, I shall friend you over at dw. I'm bork over there. (Go ahead, look surprised)

I'm treating it as a shiny new toy, but it's a shiny new toy with potential.

What is DW? I feel like I should already know this, but I'm clueless in this regard.

DW = Dreamwidth.org. A new blogging forum, currently in beta mode.

Hey, I left you a reply about the boots! When you take your next break from sewing, take a look at it.

Well, I guess if you're going to merchandise a film that is astoundingly cheesy you have to do so with equally cheese-fueled gusto. I'm frankly a little jealous that there isn't as much Twilight Mania over here so I could openly mock and then secretly take part in it. :)

Re: The boots

Skirt thingy should be fine, so long as you pay for or supply the material. :) I should be able to fit it in with Convergence sewing.

Whoo-hoo! Okay, I'll rummage in the stash for fabric. What yardage would you need?

Even if I do keep forgetting to look at/update facebook ...

I thought I was the only one.

I might just have to check DW out. The buzz is getting deafening.
