Saturday night was the Steampunk Exhibition Ball! The Stunt!Husband escorted me, as the Stroppy One is deadline-stricken.
See that little red square hanging at the front of my skirt? It was a little badge that said "Judge". I was a judge for the "enticing ensemble" competition. (And the facial hair one.) Oh yes, I was judging people professionally. (Whereas the Stunt!Husband was doing it for fun.)
Yes, that's my beloved stripey polonaise made by Kambriel. One of the best clothing purchases I ever made.
Sunday night was the Emilie Autumn concert! Wheee!
I'm particularly pleased with how the most recent round of pink dye for my hair turned out. I'm hoping I can duplicate the icy pink effect again.
And finally, today the Stroppy One went forth to Cupcake Royale and brought back GF cupcakes for me! One chocolate, one salted caramel. Clovis and I had half of each for tea today. Tomorrow we will have the other halves.
That's been the excitement in my life for the past few days. Well, that, job-hunting (which I have some very promising leads on, everyone cross your fingers for me!), writing, and teaching myself Audacity.
