Tzepesh is!

At home, eating. Well, scooping kibble onto the floor and then eating, but that's what he's always done with kibble.

He's going to be on a bunch of meds for a while, and is indeed going to be on steroids for life. We still don't know what caused the GI infection; cats with IBS can be triggered into something like that by, oh, eating a few spiders. (Tzepesh, let your brother take over the role of Mighty Hunter for now, okay?)

But he's home. Home, and affectionate, and much like his old self. We're very thankful for that.

Awwwwww, he's making a total mess. That is so heartening since he hadn't been eating well. Even if I don't know why they take kibble, ping most of it out of their mouths and then eat the remains.

Because they are cats and they like to watch us stare at them and say "WTH? Aren't they supposed to be fastidious?" This is my explanation for why they manage to kick litter all over the laundry room floor: it's an extra-large box with a cover, and yet . . . .

(Don't ask me what we're going to do in the apartment yet; I haven't worked that one out.)

I am so relieved he is home and chowing down. Sam was on steroids her entire life.

Yeah for Home Again Kitty!
May he continue to make a mess of the floor for many more years. ;)
