mineke came over and helped me sew buttons onto the dress she made me for the Vampire Ball. Black taffeta, with a faux vest of pink satin in the front, black velvet lapels/trim, and beeeelions and beeeelions of pink satin buttons down the lapels and on the trim. (Plus a b&w striped full skirt, but there are no pink satin buttons on that.)
Eeeee! Oh, it turned out beautifully, and I can't wait to wear it next weekend! Thank you,mineke!

I have photos taken by the artist that you really should see.
I went shopping to get The Lady proper silver rings and other jewelry - I have got a fabulous skull hat pin for her.
If you, Jilli want to see her, just give me a call
(It is most hilarious for me to try to refer to her and you in the same paragraph!)
Bloomers, black and white striped tights and Victorian blouse, pink and black petticoats with pink ruffles, two striped skirts with pink lace trim with black bows that have pink beads. A coat that is black w/bat wing hem and sleeves, that laces up the back with pink ribbon and front detail of pink lace.
She has black boots that lace with pink ribbon, and a top hat with black feathers and pink flowers.
I have the stuff to make a silver heart locket with a skull and crossbones on it for a necklace.
Sara made her jointed so she can sit - on my lovely black brocade satin chair....
OMG she is so pretty and so you! Sara the artist lived near you on Capital Hill, and always thought you should be a doll!
