I have some extra mold making materials that have to be used by the middle of this (march) month. it's a two part mold, I just have a ton of it. Need to get your logo on a cameo :)

I left the recipe sitting on my desk at work (because I am a scatterbrain), but from what I remember, the strawberries are diced and added to the frosting. So I don't see why we couldn't use frozen strawberries.

Ooh! So they're more of a vinegar cake, kind of like vinegar pie or one of those mid-twentieth century cakes that could be made without fresh/rationed ingredients! In that case, i'm positive that they could be made very well with either frozen strawberries or even good quality preserves.
