Because I was curious, I went and checked eBay to see what the C13 BPAL scents were selling for. Ye gods!

$46 for Shanghai Tunnel, with 3 days left in the auction. $30 for Lydia, with the same amount of time left. Crumpet Rebellion went for $167. (!!!)

This is where I'm going to keep telling myself that putting my bottle of Crumpet Rebellion up on eBay would go against the whole reason that Beth made it. (And no, I'm not really tempted to put it on eBay. But still! Almost $200? People = wacky.)

Crumpet Rebellion....

Not that I'll wear it, because it doesn't quite work on me, but it smells fantastic on my handkerchiefs, and it was a gift by an amazing person to commemorate an amazing event, so I ain't selling mine. :)

I have the C13 scents, untested, and I will be selling them as a 3 piece set, eventually. I may wait until the hype before c14 starts up. I sniffed the bottles and they are all 3 something I'd never wear. So.

But I will never, ever sell Crumpet Rebellion. It is just WRONG. (Besides, we loves and wears the precious)

I bought the C13 to speculate, but I'm actually not selling crumpet. I figure some of my friends, in the future may need some.

I just can't get into collecting BPAL for the sake of collecting or speculating. I buy it, if it doesn't work I generally offer it to friends and family till someone matches up with it.

Am I a bad person for giving it away? Don't think so :-). I even enabled my 74 year old father to BPAL when Herr Drosselmeyer was released (it smells just like him - wood, pipe tobacco, books).
