Why the Month of May Didn't Exist Here, Plus Answering a Reader Letter

The letter you answered made me smile because in the last week before I left for Convergence I had two co-workers tell me, essentially, "but you don't look goth?!" Near as I can tell the basis for these comments are that I A) Don't have black hair (I shudder to think at the maintenance that would be required to pull of that feat) and B) I sometimes wear Red or Purple shirts - basically because I'm conforming to the business casual dress code that I've observed at Boeing. It's interesting to me what non-goth co-workers have decided goth looks like.

That ended up being a running joke all weekend at Convergence. I may noodle about this more in my own journal later...
