FYI, I finally bought a pink Snarkling t-shirt. Bec., while I'm not quite a Cupcake Goth, I love peeenk! And I can do a cupcakey bit in my own laidback way w/a pink T, black shorts, & a Pink Drink(tm) this summer ;-)

I don't know how this site escaped my attention until now, but I've read through quite a bit of it and adore you even more than I already did for your artful use of pink and wonderful hat tastes. :)

It's very well done, as I'm sure people tell you all the time. I have saved it to my favourites and will now consider myself a full-blown Miss Cupcake fan. :)

Oh, thank you! The site might have escaped your notice because in a previous incarnation it was called Gothic Miss Manners. But Things Happened, and a name change was necessary.

The letter you answered made me smile because in the last week before I left for Convergence I had two co-workers tell me, essentially, "but you don't look goth?!" Near as I can tell the basis for these comments are that I A) Don't have black hair (I shudder to think at the maintenance that would be required to pull of that feat) and B) I sometimes wear Red or Purple shirts - basically because I'm conforming to the business casual dress code that I've observed at Boeing. It's interesting to me what non-goth co-workers have decided goth looks like.

That ended up being a running joke all weekend at Convergence. I may noodle about this more in my own journal later...
