Congratulations and Thank Yous

The Mr. & Mrs. Goth Seattle Pageant last night was a lot of fun. I'd like to congratulate the winners, hellgeist and blacklove_; I hope you have fun with the titles! Also, congratulations to the runners-up, arcitennoir & generalchaos!

The contestants this year were a good bunch, and yes, there was proof that the goth scene has a sense of humor. (As if there was any doubt. ::grins::)

A big, BIG thank you goes to hereticsaint for organizing this every year; you have my respect and admiration, darling.

And finally, I'd like to say how honored (if a bit flabbergasted!) I am to have been given the "Immortal" award. That was something I did not expect at all, and it really does mean a lot to me. Thank you very much!

There were a LOT of people out last night that I didn't recognize, which is great. Does this mean the local goth scene is becoming more active and vibrant? Goodness, that would be wonderful. (And as an aside, when & where are these people going out? I haven't seen a lot of them at Dark Requiem on Wednesdays. But yay, new people!)

I fully approve of farce. I was glad to hear that was what it all amounted to. Farce is good for the soul. (you should see the face that was done by my friend Jason several years ago, remind me to tell you about it sometime). :D

and of course you deserved teh award!

I *will* make it out to this next year dammit. I am most annoyed that I could not get in to see the doctor on Tuesday so I could come.

I was in L.A. at this time last year, otherwise I would have been at the pageant. :)
