I need some dresses made, and it doesn't look like my usual seamstress/personal designer will have time.

::sobs quietly at that::

I have been told the style of dress I want is pretty damn simple, and that if I had the time, I'd be able to make them myself. Which is probably true, but making dresses with princess seams always goes horribly awry when I try it myself, and my goodness, do I not have the time right now.*

So! I'm hoping that one of you talented munchkins will be able to help me. If you go to this LJ gallery of mine, there are two pictures of my One True Dress there. I'd love to get three or four of them made, in various (black) fabrics. If any of you think you might be able to make them, leave a comment and we'll start talking about prices, fabrics, measurements, and all those details.

Of course, if any of you reading this knows where I can buy off-the-rack versions of my One True Dress, OMG tell me now now now!

*Maybe, after my work deadlines have settled down, I may try my hand at making a dress by myself. But Not Right Now.

I'm glad other, better seamstresses jumped in before I was tempted to. My limited bandwidth is already committed to the next Moby Costume, and I've never made anything with princess seams before. (They're hardly the best for my shape, ne?) I can see why that's a Perfect Dress, though, and I can't wait to see it.
