Random coveting

There are times when I realize I am waaaaay too susceptible for my own good. After looking at some posts on steamfashion, I am filled with longing for a ray gun.

No, a ray gun wouldn't go with my preferred aesthetic. Really, I know that. And yes, I know that a black and pink ray gun would look silly, and not in a fun, brimful of whimsy sort of way.

Serial posting: more thoughts on black and pink ray guns!

Thanks to the enabling and encouragement from some of you, not to mention looking at this post in steamfashion, I now want to get a small toy ray gun and modify it. Yes, black with pink details, and make a pink holster for it.

I also want to find a pair of antique-looking goggles to customize to fit in with the pink&black aesthetic, so I can have a Cupcake Gothic Steampunk Lady Explorer outfit. I mean, I've already got the wardrobe (I'd just have to mix & match a couple of pieces). I just need the ray gun and the goggles!

stroppy_baggage has already declared that I need to step away from the ray guns and possibly have a time-out. I think he's just saying that in attempt at self-defense, because he realizes that I would need his help with painting things.
