When real things happen to imaginary people

• A women-only spa RIGHT BY MY HOUSE.

The combination of these things means that when the ongoing medical issues I have flare up and make me want to curl up under a heated blanket, possibly with a bottle of laudanum, I can trundle off to the spa instead. Spending a few hours basking in saunas and soaking in heated pools do WONDERS for my issues.

I won't lie: there are days when it seems like springing for a membership and going there every night seems like a really good idea.
