Wednesday is a 7am meeting day. And then there may be an 8am meeting immediately after it. And Thursday is also a 7am meeting day. Boo, I say. Boo.
(I can hear some of you thinking "If you have a 7am meeting, why haven't you gone to bed yet?!" The thing is, you see, that it doesn't matter how early I have to get up, I am almost entirely incapable of falling asleep before 12:30am-ish. I've learned this the hard way.)

In frivolous-but-probably-actually-self-care news: I had a hair appointment today! I went to Adi (Locks of Fury) and had them do a roots to ends dye application of burgundy semi-permanent dye. AND they trimmed my ends, shaved my nape, and reshaped my bangs! Let me tell you, paying someone else to apply dye AND get it properly rinsed out in a shampoo bowl is worth it. I'm still going to bleach/tone/dye my own streaks, because I have that down to an exact process, and rinsing streaks at my temples doesn't require contorting myself over the sink or tub. But coloring the rest of my hair? I'm seriously considering going to Adi from now on.

Wednesday is also time for the most important holiday tradition in my world: present shopping with Dad! I may not be exactly full of holiday cheer right now (or time to bake gingerbread bats), but spending time with my Dad? Exactly what I need.
