Remember my post about belled anklets and jingly jewelry in general? (clicky-link!) For my birthday, [livejournal.com profile] maiaarts and her wonderful hubby gave me anklets and a necklace.

Today, a package from shopgoodwill.org showed up, full of other jingly things, including a belt and a necklace with more elaborate metalwork than usual.

I WILL BRING BACK JINGLY GOTH FASHION. Mixed with Victorian-esque dark mori/strega, because oh, why not. Flowy layers, princess-seamed dresses and tops, and jingly, elaborate belts!

omg. Silvertone, jingly, AND with a crescent moon! Depending on how tomorrow's nostalgia road trip with the StuntHusband goes, I may consider purchasing this.

Remember the discussion with the RealHusband that included <>""NO ONE WANTS SURPRISE JINGLING, JILLI. Jingling that's expected, that's fine."?

Guess who went on a surprise thrift shopping trip (thanks, [livejournal.com profile] maiaarts!), and found a belled anklet AND a belled belt? Guess who had a 30% off total purchase coupon?

(Also purchased: sequinned tank top, a length of silk tulle, gray lace tights, gray lace blouse, BNWT ivory & silver candle (thrift witchcraft supplies!), a tiered skirt in shades of pale pink to dark rose (with silver sequins on the hem!), 3 pair of vintage pettipants with tags still on, 2 elastic belts, and antique glass bottles.)
