I made it 4 months without a muscle tension migraine. But they've started coming back. They're mild right now, but they're definitely there.

So! I have an appointment on Thursday evening to see my FABULOUS, AMAZING dentist for more Botox injections.

In makeup news, I recently haven't even been doing smokey, smudgy eye makeup! I've been putting a light layer of Rituel de Fille's "eclipse" cream pigment on my lids, then packing on SUPER GLITTERY light-colored pigment. No, you don't understand. SUPER. GLITTERY. This is what it looks like on its own, over neutral-colored shadow primer:

The pigment itself is "unicorn" from TKB Trading's Fairy Tale Collection, which is sold out. However, for those of you looking for a wide selection of cosmetic pigments, TKB Trading is where to go, because their samples are HUGE and CHEAP. I, um, may have bought three or four of the sample sets from the Fairy Tale and Galaxy collections, because hello glitter.

Anyhoodle, yeah. Glitter. No dark shadows, no liner, just sparkle and lots of mascara. As MCR said in the song, "sparkle like Bowie in the morning sun".

Hnnnng, Black Moon Cosmetics.

That's the Cosmic Eye Dust in "Cosmos", a pink/purple/gold colorshift glitter. It has a black pigment base, so as you blend it out, you get a lovely smokey effect with a haze of glitter.

SWEET SAINTED BOWIE I LOVE THIS STUFF. I need to buy the "Moon Rocks" color (silver with black), like, yesterday.

And *that's* the Black Metal liquid-to-matte lipcolor in "Armageddon". I'm a little less enthused with that. It's a fabulous color, and it's one of the better liquid-to-matte formulas out there, but it's still kinda drying. I will probably try it with lip balm over it (I'm already wearing lip balm under it) and see if I like it better.

However, there's a blackened rose gold color in the Black Metal lipcolor line. No, I don't want it for my lips. I want it as eyeshadow and eyeliner! (The very nice folks at Black Moon Cosmetics, in answer to my email, said they hadn't officially tested it as an eye product, but that they know some makeup artists have used it as such.) It would be such a great eye makeup color for me. Admit it, it would.

Glitter! In! Eyebrows!

It's actually more sparkly IRL, but none of the photos we took really captured it.

In other glittery eye makeup news, holy Bowie, look at the Cosmic Eyedusts from Black Moon Cosmetics.
Otherwise known as the Adam Lambert concert! Oooh, tall pretty man in eyeliner and tight pants! Silly fun pop music!

I have finally decided on an outfit. I know how much glitter eyeliner I need to apply when I get home from the office. (Hint: a LOT.) In other words, tonight is going to be silly, giddy FUN, and oh! How I need that right now.
Why YES, the Adam Lambert* concert is tomorrow night. Which means tonight involves doing a test-wearing of my outfit for the concert, and possibly blaring silly pop music. (At this very moment, the Stroppy One is giving thanks that he will be out of the house for the evening.)

Hmmm, I will need to do a test-run of some of my makeup, too. Because while the mixing medium from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics is fantastic for making smudge-proof liner out of loose pigment/minerals, I have no idea if it would work well as a glitter sealant. This is an important thing to find out!

*My theory is that Adam Lambert is the modern incarnation of Marc Almond. But taller. And prettier. But my goodness, wouldn't Glambert covering "Sex Dwarf" be aaaaaaamazing? Yes it would, don't argue with me, or I'll fling glitter at you.
