ECCC day 3!

Possibly my favorite cosplay. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!

My friend Jim is behind the Famous People Hate Me tumblr. He caught up with me at ECCC, so there had to be hijinks.

The con was good! Busy (OMG SO BUSY), but fun, and I got to catch up with a lot of people. But now? Now I go put my feet up.

ECCC day 2!

Tomorrow is going to have cooler weather, THANK GOODNESS. Because I plan on wearing my Beetlejuice frock coat and a Very Big Hat, and I don't want to have to stuff ice packs down my front.

HMOG, my feet hurt. And we only walked around the show for something like 4 hours. Tomorrow, I wear my Converse or my red velvet Docs, because I need more cushioning.

No, I was not at the DC comics panel where GWay made a surprise appearance and announced a new comic imprint. Alas.

- My panels were a lot of fun. I really love meeting the people who've been reading GCS; they're all so sweet! And funny! And adorable!

- Everyone really likes my Giant Hats. But tomorrow I am returning to the standby, my (lightweight!) top hat.

- People. SO. MANY. PEOPLE. If you aren't good with crowds, do not ever go to ECCC on a Saturday.

- THE COSTUMES. There was a lady dressed as Granny Weatherwax, complete with an "I AINT DEAD" sign. There was another lady dressed as Elpheba from Wicked. There were adorable children dressed up as adorable neat things, swarms of superheroes, and a whole lot of what I assume were assorted anime characters.

- Tonight when I got home from the con, I washed off my makeup and headed straight to the spa. I feel considerably better for having soaked for a few hours.

Extra-huge thanks to the Infamous BlueJay, who crept into our house Fri. and Sat. mornings (we gave her a key) and made breakfast. My plan to keep her in the basement in her very own luxurious gilded cage? I need to get working on that.
