Goth at the Office: tomorrow I SLEEP IN.

Not shown: the slightly bruised and embarrassed ego from slipping and falling on the marble floor. I'm not injured, just a little bruised.

Today's funny culture shock: there's some sort of national rodeo thing in town this weekend. I rode in an elevator with a bunch of strapping young men wearing cowboy hats. I'm pretty sure I confused them a LOT.

I fly home Sunday. Things I am looking forward to coming home to: the RealHusband, the kitties, Clovis, sleep, and good coffee. And my top hat. And the rest of my wardrobe.

Reminds me of the Florida Convergence where we wound up sharing the hotel with a weightlifting convention -- they actually were all really friendly! :D

Aww. Sorry to hear you hurt yourself. They do tend to polish those floors to a new level of slickness. One could almost use them as a slip-n-slide without water. Did you at least tell management about it so they can remedy the problem? After all the last thing they need is patrons falling all over the place (for the obvious reasons).
