Goth at the Office: Wednesdays are HARD

Wednesday is the weekly 9am meeting. (I usually don't have to be at the office until 10am. Bless you, tech industry.) So Wednesdays are HARD.



In other news, I discovered there's a tiny, wonderful chocolate shop about 4 blocks from my office. Win! I think I'm going to try and take more short walks around the neighborhood here to see what else I find. The last time I seriously spent any time in Pioneer Square was ... good G-d, 20 years ago. (Really?! It's been 20 years since 1992? Someone, tell me my math is wrong, because the passage of time is freaking me out. Again.)

But I don't know how helpful the SFDs will be, because almost all of this outfit is thrift store or eBay scores. The jacket is a UK size 14, and is by a UK brand called Warehouse. The blouse is Banana Republic, size 12. The underskirt is from a vintage dress, and the over skirt is an old Lip Service piece - from the Lilies and Remains line, I think? The only item I bought new-with-tags is the LS skirt.

The only reason I know how many years it's been since 1992 (and therefore get to feel a bit elderly/seasoned) is that Kira was born in 1992 -- so I always know exactly how many years it's been, because of her age -- she turns 20 on September 18, so we can pretend it's only been 19 years until the Appointed Date Arrives! ;)
