No Goth at the Office photo today

OMG tiiiiiired. Mornings, still not a fan. Plus I spent all day in training today.

I liked what I wore today, but it was nothing *that* fabulous (black silk J. Peterman frock coat over a pink & black striped ruffled blouse and skirt), and whooo, I really didn't feel like taking a photo.

Instead, have proof that I SO am not the artist in the family. One of the things I doodled today. The Stroppy One said, "It's interesting how your linework looks like it was caught in the shower." Ha!



Also, as this picture shows, I have been kinda-sorta practicing my cursive writing (instead of my usual scribbly printing). Will I ever be able to achieve beautiful copperplate lettering? I very much doubt it. But writing longhand, in cursive, is kind of like meditating for me. So I should probably do it more often.

you aren't as horrible at drawing as you think you are. You are just married to a brilliant artist so it is hard not to compare your work to his. I think your cartoons are charming. And yes, they do look like they were caught in the shower.

As to handwriting - I believe we have discussed my mother's method of 'fixing' mine.
