Today is the first time I've worn a knee-length skirt & petticoats while working on this team. This, apparently, baffles some of my co-workers.

Co-worker: "You have stripy legs!"

Me: "Yes."

Co-worker: "You have pointy feet!"

(Not stripy tights and pointy shoes, but legs and feet. My co-workers are a sheltered, sheltered bunch.)

This reminds me of an essay I read yesterday, on the history of the Jaipur prosthetic leg in India. The author remarked how one owners of her prosthetic painted her 'toenails' and adorned the leg with toe rings.

Just remember, dear, until today, they had no evidence that you had legs or feet. Baby steps....

I have suspected from previous posts about co-workers....and I am now certain..you need to make these posts in to a graphic novel!

Stripy legs? Pointy feet? There's a job at Ringling Bros. waiting for you. There'd be one for me, but my suction feet aren't loud enough.
