Hat! Want the hat!

My spending money for the next three weeks is already budgeted and accounted for, drat it all. Because that is an ADORABLE hat.

Lessee, what else has been going on? Hellboy was lots of fun, seeing various friends on Saturday was good. Sunday was a cranky-for-no-reason day, saved by stroppy_baggage being wonderful as usual, a nice dinner, and imflying coming over and keeping me company.

...

Want the hat, dammit. Waaaaaaant, I tell you. Do I want money to spend at the neighborhood-wide yard sale day in 2 weeks, or do I want a new hat? Decisions, decisions. I wonder if I could sell off some of the clothes I've been meaning to in a fast enough time to become the rightful and proper owner of the hat ... ?

(Yes, yes, stroppy_baggage, I can hear you rolling your eyes from here.)

Save your money for garage sales! You could convert one of your regular top hats in to something similar. Using iron on transfer paper you could print an Alice in Wonderland image and sew it on to a fabric square and attach to hat front and back.

Were I terribly rich, I'd snap it up & send it to you in a box w/ black ribbon. It's so nice to know that someone *really* wants something & be able to offer it up. ...and no sap to say I like giving magic presents almost as much or more than receiving em'. *shrugs* ...but as a garage-sale-a-holic that's had to hold off for two years til' we had a larger home (and I will @ the end o' April) I say go for it & find treasures!!
