minim_calibre is awesome. Because she spirited me away from my house this early evening, and we did a quick run to our local Goodwill. My loot:
- A black w/ white pinstripes velvet blazer, which will be tailored to fit during this evening.
- a lovely illustrated book of Edgar Allan Poe poems.
- A still-in-the-packaging doll/action figure of Bela Lugosi as Dracula. (Stamp my cliché card NOW, thankyouverymuch.)
- A B&N "classic edition" hardback of Dracula, which will promptly be used for a craft project.
- A bag of silver filigree buttons.
- A pair of Fluevog boots. (!!!) In lovely condition yet too small for me (they're about a size 5), but I'm sure I'll be able to find a good home for them.
