Today was Gingerbread Bats day. Oh yes.

The bats about to go in the oven.

Freshly-baked bats!

Now to go brew myself some herbal tea, nom some bats, and go over the comments from my beta readers for tomorrow's GCS post. (Hint: it has a recipe!)

And then later on, bundle up, walk down to the park, and join in the community Christmas caroling event. Yes, this time I will be a caroler, so the standard comment will be appropriate. ::grin::

Hee hee - yesterday was Ginger bats day for me - and I also made two different size bat cookies. I think my smaller cutter is the same as your smaller cutter. I'm very pleased with my cookies!

I think I have the same smaller cutter too ~ we used it for our wedding bat cookies (which were tinted lavender) :)

Aw, you need to come do the baltimore cookie swap. You'd totally win the presentation category!

So adorable gingerbread bats. I ended up with gingerbreads in the shape of dinosaurs, elephants and Taj Mahal. :-S Not too goth I'm afraid. :-S
