Yesterday's SeaGoth Rummage sale was fun, if rather low in attendance. But it was a great opportunity for socializing!

Unfortunately, socializing means talking. Guess who ripped her throat up and lost her voice? Guess who also slept until noon today?

::insert eye-rolling, cranky stamping of feet, and coughing here::

I thought my voice was better after the epic amount of sleep, but the Stroppy One says he can hear it getting croakier and croakier as I try to talk. Swell. Today is going to be about flopping on the couch and drinking a lot of Bengal Spice tea (loaded with clove and cinnamon, yum!) with honey. My plans for today HAD included doing laundry and taking photos of all the things left from the sale, but I'm just clear-headed enough to realize what a bad idea that would be.

I still have The Plague.

I'm also thinking of just not talking unless I absolutely have to. So it'll be interesting to see how baristas handle me writing things down for them, etc.

I have one of those stickie notes from Starbucks that they put on the cups that's all filled out with their little abreviations of what my drink is. It's challenging enough to order when I'm awake, but at 5am before caffeine it's nearly impossible for me to get my order out, so I just kinda grunt and show them the stickie. Works every time.

Plague-o-rama here too. I am all about tea, napping, kool-aid, napping, playing video games or watching tivo/netflix, napping, water, napping, reading/listing to kindle read books, napping...

My days have seriously gone by in legos of time - a few hours up and about, a few hours asleep, a few hours up and about, a few hours asleep... At least my sleeping is starting to actually be *sleeping* instead of just dozing or passing out from exhaustion.

So sad I missed the Rummage sale. Are you planning on selling the leftovers online?

Bengal Spice tea can cure anything. :)

I'm thinking soothing, healing thoughts at you.

So sad to hear you're unwell... I wish I were there to help make the illness demons take their leave.
