Kick off the Halloween Spirit with a bang!
Come dressed to kill in a costume of your choice and be prepared to have your senses delighted!!

---

- The Infamous BlueJay came over last night. We played with dolls. There will be photos posted later. FEAR US.

- More of "I am a target market": At Value Village in the Halloween section, you can find pink tights with black bats on them. !!! The Infamous BlueJay gave me a pair, eeee!

- Today seems to be one of those days where I'm not capable of getting anything done on writing projects. But I did take care of a bunch of stuff from the To Do list, so yay?

- Why is there not a cupcake delivery service? WHY? I am devoid of cupcakes, which is making me cranky. Crankier. Grrr.

(Those of you who read the last two list items, nodded, and said "Ah, PMS" are very clever.)

I take it the Stroppy One, although skilled in other culinary areas, does not bake?

That is something of an epic understatement.

But, my longing for cupcakes has overpowered my not wanting to bake: I dug out the Kitchen-Aide, and am in the midst of baking a batch of cupcakes.

curses... now *I* may have to make some cupcakes up. I have this sudden urge to see if I can make *violet* cupcakes.

I spent a large chunk of last evening and this morning baking cupcakes and making from scratch, as today was the first school day after my son's birthday. (He's four now. Eeep.) Not that I'm normally a baking mistress; he just has allergy issues.

They came out really awesome. :D I'm going to make a final batch tonight, so we can enjoy them too, and play with coloring the frosting.

But after that, I'm done for a while. It's not hard, but very time consuming.

Why is there not a cupcake delivery service?

I've wondered this for some time. It seems like a market just waiting to be tapped.

Commenting solely to express my yearning for the cake in the icon. It looks scrumptious.

Don't Common Ground Cupcake and Coffee and Trophy Cupcakes have cupcake trucks?

I remember seeing a photo of a Cupcake Royalle delivery truck, too, but I don't know if it was just a catering truck.

What [livejournal.com profile] rocket_jockey said - (http://www.trophycupcakes.com/) at least claims to deliver... as does (http://order.cupcakeroyale.com/)
*Things you’ll want to know: Please order by NOON the day before you need them. There is a minimum order of 1 dozen cupcakes for delivery. It’s $15 to deliver within the city of Seattle, if you live beyond…please phone 206-883-7656 to discuss options.
(http://www.theyellowleafcupcake.com/order_cupcakes.php) wants 48 hours, but they do too.
(http://winkcupcakes.com/order.php) also delivers - but needs "1 full day"
"We require 1 Full Business Day to process custom orders and deliveries.
If you are having a cupcake "emergency" please call or visit our store. Delivery fees in the Seattle area range between $7- $15."

It's a start, anyway (and yes, I'm using my silly icon ;>)

Assuming you are in their delivery area, Amazon Fresh will deliver you cupcakes from Cupcake Royale, along with the rest of your groceries. Of course there is also my method, with involves batting my eyes at the husband until he goes and gets them for me.
