Shallow fashion coveting post: the boots edition

Mmm, autumnal weather! Which makes me think of boots, which leads me to stare longingly at photos of the two pairs of boots which are at the top of my coveting list. The boots that I hope someday, some glorious day, will make their way to me. Even though BOTH of these styles are no longer manufactured.

Firstly, the Fluevogs!



These are the Babycakes. I have them in all black, and I love them. They are possibly my favorite pair of boots ever. I would LOVE to also have them in the pink X wine colorway. (The Stroppy One isn't terribly fussed on them, saying he doesn't think they would go with enough items in my wardrobe. I think he is WRONG LIKE A WRONG THING. Ahem.)

Then, the boots I covet more than any other. I've wittered about them before. I keep hoping that someone will someday contact me and say "Hey! I've found a pair of them in your size!" My ridiculous daydreams about impossible-to-find boots, let me tell you about them. The Helene Angelique "Camee" boots.

Alright. I'm officially convinced I NEED a pair of Fluevogs. Those are TOO CUTE.

Oh, and red is considered neutral now, so you can make those work. If they're ever put into production again.

Man OH man! I LOVE me those Fluevogs! Then again I love most of their shoes. The heel is amazing. I'm not really a boot person at all but both of these? AWESOME.

Also to the Stroppy Naysayer: Those Fluevogs could easily be worn with any outfit that you wear only black and white with. *nodnods*

I have a pair of pink/red/burgundy shoes. I have worn them with a pink dress, a true red dress, and a primarily-black outfit. You could make those boots work with your wardrobe. (That's assuming you've seen them in person and are certain the pink is the correct shade...)

I'm not crazy about Fluevogs any more, but familiarity does breed contempt that way, and I realize I'm the only one. The pink and black cameo boots, however, are still absurd and amazing. You do need both of those pairs of boots, of course.

Though pink does not pride itself on being one of my favourite colours, the design of those boots is truly intriguing. if they came in black/vine they'd be totally mine!

By the by, I just finished reading Soulless, which I found to be a very entertaining piece of literature indeed. As soon as I have finished writing my Bachelor thesis, I will most surely order the following volumes! A very heartfelt Thank You for introducing me to this lovely series!

I love those boots! And don't worry, I wear my wine Mini Dollface shoes with black and white stripy skirts, and it looks fantastic (at least I think so). I just want the Babycakes in black. The Minis really are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.
