- The weather here in Seattle is beautifully overcast. Thank you, Weather Powers That Be. I'm going to wear boots today!

- Today involves going for yummy food, checking out Halloween goodies at a local store, groceries, and then packing things for mailing. And writing. I *may* bat my eyes at the lovely ladymoira and see if she might be interested in a super-quick thrift store run.

- Book meme! I've seen this going around on some friends' LJs, and thought I'd post it. Name four comfort-reading books:

• Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury. I re-read it every October.


• The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice. Mmmm, florid bombast with vampires!


• Winnie The Pooh by A. A. Milne. I still have my copies from my childhood.


• Changeless by Gail Carriger. A new-ish entry to my comfort-reading list, but I can't deny that I've re-read it, um, a lot.

The Halloween party we attend every year is Disney themed this time around, and Shanti has elected to go as... Mr. Dark. I'll have to snap you pictures. =) (I'm going as Belle, and the baby as an Ewok. Good times.)

I've been having a lovely twitter relationship with Miss Carrier. She had declared me her official stylish stalker. I just made her a present today as a matter of fact. Although I don't know if I can ever forgive how she ended the last book.
