Yes, two, TWO different lists of Shallow Fashion Details! I can sense your eyes glazing over even as I type this. Someday, I might post something other than clothes natter, and all of you will keel over from shock.


Thanks to Yosa's timely advice (Stax, I didn't see yours until this morning!), deciding what to wear out became much simpler.

• black granny boots


• red & black stripy tights


• red stretch velvet bustled skirt


• black chemise with lace ruffles at the neckline


• red satin Victorian sweetheart overbust corset


• black lace princess-seamed frock coat


• red & black spiderweb ribbon & lace choker with black glass beads


• black top hat w/ lots of tulle


• extra black eyeliner, iridescent glitter, and redred lipstick

It was a lovely night out at the Vogue; Doug's friend Joolz was charming, I got to see people that I don't get to see as often as I'd like, and Doug said he'd contact Instinct Records about getting a listening party for the upcoming Rasputina cd set up (nudge, nudge).

This morning, what passes for OfficeGoth in my world:

• black pointy Fluevog flats


• black tights


• black & white striped bustle skirt with black lace trim (that I made last weekend


• black princess-seamed, knee-length stretch velvet dress w/ black ruffles at the hem, neckline, and cuffs


• black velvet & "jet" choker


• and the usual feather-trimmed top hat and everyday makeup

As usual, I'm not terribly excited to be in the office. Who Knew?^TM I may try and convince the Usual Suspects to go for coffee later.
