Excellent advice as always:)

Do you think you might have a review column on safe sunscreens and organic makeup? I found out recently that most commercially produced sunscreens and cosmetics have potentially toxic ingredients and have been searching for organic or natural ones to replace my beloved MAC products, especially lipsticks since we basically "eat" them.

Just a suggestion:)

Oooh, that is a good idea. But thinking about the amount of research I'd have to do for that is a little intimidating.

Also, I don't know if you're interested, but I'm from Perth, Australia (one of the most isolated cities in the world), if you need any halp with anything (Goths in the Sun, sunscreen local tours etc)

Yes, the research would be the biggest issue.

I have started some research with the sunscreens from the link you had in your journal to the EWG's sunscreen guide. Finding a non-sticky sunscreen is becoming a bit troublesome.

I am testing some Tarte lipsticks since they are organic.

I would be happy to report what I find.

I recommend trying bodyluminosity.com's sunscreen. I haven't used that particular product, but all other products I have used from them are wonderful, and I plan to order it very soon.

This has reminded me that I may be going to the Clockwork Ball tomorrow night (I saw you on the invite list but I imagine traveling cross-country while sick for a one-night event is a bit much to ask) and if I do I will try and get some pictures of me in my gothy Orientalist finery.

Done. If you could return the favor at some point I would greatly appreciate it.

'a cluster of scene kids is disturbingly like looking at a funhouse mirror reflection of the 1980s'

teeheee :)

I always try to explain to people that what is currently called "emo" is actually a direct descendant of the 90's-era punk trend, but nobody listens.

I actually saw an article that talked about how "vampires have been a fascination of emo kids going all the way back to the late 70's" and had to go lie down for a bit.
